Weir is it? Traditional Cache

Easy, family friendly geocache, next to historical weir.

Geocache is set in a beautiful location by the Milford weir and is a lovely walk alongside the river. The area is a historical heritage site due to the Strutt Family's cotton mill legacy. The cache is right next to the weir which will allow families to explore the history of the area and to experience a lovely outdoor setting. The geocache is in a typically small plastic box with clip sides, so is nicely secure from the elements. The paths to the geocahe are all paved and flat; and from one direction (from the A6 road) there is a gentle path down to the river which would be accessible for pushchair and wheelchairs users.
