På svenska

På 1940-talet bekostade företaget Nitroglycerin AB byggandet av bostäder åt sina anställda i Gyttorp. Det var ont om lägenheter, och företagsledningen ville att deras anställda skulle ha bra boende med hög standard. Den engelske arkitekten Ralph Erskine fick i uppdrag att rita husen.

Husen byggdes mellan åren 1948 till 1961. Byggnadernas speciella form och färg blev ett samtalsämne både i Gyttorp och Sverige, men även ute i Europa. Ralph Erskine fick även i uppdrag att rita Gyttorps skola. Området är ett byggnadsminne då det tydligt visar på Ralph Erskines personliga formspråk.

För att hitta denna geocache ska du besöka fem platser i Gyttorp. På varje plats finns en röd-vit skylt med antingen siffror eller bokstäver. Notera informationen och bestäm värdet av bokstäverna A till F.

In the 1940s, financed the company Nitroglycerin AB construction of housing for its employees in Gyttorp. There was a shortage of apartments, and management wanted their employees to have quality accommodation. The English architect Ralph Erskine was hired to design the buildings.

The houses were built between the years 1948 to 1961. The buildings particular shape and color became a topic of conversation in both Gyttorp and Sweden, but also in Europe. Ralph Erskine was also hired to design the school building in Gyttorp. The area is a monument as it clearly demonstrates Ralph Erskines personal idiom.

To find this geocache, you have to visit five places in Gyttorp. At each location there is a red-white sign with either numbers or letters. Note the information and determine the value of the letters A to F.

B = The digit sum of the number (S2)

C = The digit sum of the number (S3)

D = The digit sum of the integer (S4)

E = The digit sum of the integer (S5)

F = The sum of the integer numbers (S1 to S5). The ones you found at each location.
