Der Herrenteich (oder auch Klugenteich genannt) liegt am Fuße des alten Ritterguts in Selka. Im Sommer wird er durchaus noch vom Anglerverein "Oberes Sprottental" genutzt, da dieser Pächter des Teichs ist. Außerdem wird der Herrenteich auch vereinzelt von Wanderern besucht. Am Teich gibt es viel zu entdecken. Alte Statuen im Wald, die einst zum Rittergut gehörten, können genauso bewundert werden wie ein riesiger, zu einem imposanten Holzsitz verarbeiteter Baumstumpf am Ufer des Teichs. Der Cache ist für Kinder geeignet, sollte jedoch von Erwachsenen geborgen werden. Wenn ihr euch vor Ort fragt "kann das wahr sein?", dann wisst ihr, wo die Box zu finden ist. Die Koordinaten beschreiben den Fundort. Bitte benutzt als Zugang den Feldweg, an dem die hier als Wegpunkt angegebene Parkbucht liegt. Büchlein, Bleistift und Anspitzer sind in der Box enthalten. Außerdem bietet sie genug Platz zum Tauschen. Bitte legt keinen "Müll" in die Box.
