Geocache Description:

This geocache is being placed on behalf of our Parental Involvement Committee at Pulaski County Elementary School.

Our students at PCES have SWAG for sure (Students With Academic Greatness).  We want to not only expose them to educational opportunities within our school, but outside the school walls as well.  Learning takes place everywhere!  The PIC committee at the Elementary School has been granted permission to hide a geocache at our Public Library here in Hawkinsville, GA.  How exciting and what a FUN way to get parents involved in their child's learning as well.  This activity will include skills such as using technology (apps, compasses, etc), giving and following directions, and of course READING since their journay will end there!  The container will be big enough to take a treasure but the students must remember to leave their own treasure for someone else to find!!!  NO FOOD is to be left in treasure box!  Don't forget to sign the log and take a "selfy" to send to us!!!  You may see yourself on the Geocache "Wall of Fame" at School!!!  While you are out and about take a walk around our beautiful little town!  And remember to always, "Keep turning the pages of your imagination!"

The Parental Involvement Committee wants parents to be involved in every aspect of their child's life.  We thought this would be a fun and exciting activity for our students!  And what a great place to end up! While they are there we hope they will stop by the library and start "turning the pages of those imaginations!"
