This little group of ridges are called The Cordones hence the names of these caches. For those who found the original caches placed here by RStarrT you might recall the roads were pretty rough. I’m happy to report they are no better now and perhaps a bit worse. I’m going to suggest a 4WD, high clearance vehicle, a 2WD, high clearance will get you to most of the caches, but the road in from Saddlebrooke is VERY rough near the first few caches. Coming in off SR-77 might be a better choice for 2WD.
The caches are a mix of various sizes and shapes, but mostly small. And a mix of different types of caches. I’ll try and throw in a few surprises to boot. Caches are located on Arizona State Trust Land so you will need an ASTL recreational permit. These are available online at: https://land.az.gov/natural-resources/recreational-permits and can be printed at home or at 1616 W. Adams, Phoenix, AZ 85007
Attention: Public Records.
Enjoy the views from the ridge top and have fun out there. Be aware of the usual desert hazards.
