Geocache Description:

Come help keep SC beautiful!  This state park is 395 acres on a peninsula extending into Lake Hartwell.  As with most public lands, we are charged with being good stewards of our surroundings.  Bring a willingness to help! We'll provide trash bags, and gloves. 

We will gather at 8:30AM at the coords and we expect to be finished by 10:00AM. We will meet at the Smith Family Homestead kiosk and start out from there. Plenty of caches in the park to entertain you after the CITO. :)

The park ranger has also asked us to help celebrate EARTH DAY this weekend. We'll be planting a tree here as well. There is an admission fee of $2.00 per person. $1.25 for seniors/children.
