Geocache Description:

You can park very close to the Trailhead and walk along the Nature Trail until you are close to Capt. Rob, then look to the East.

The trail's path is an easy .6 mile R/T walk beneath towering pines, beside aromatic cedars and among dozens of varieties of plants and wildflowers.

Railroad historians can tread the path of the old Fernandina to Cedar Key rail line, and look across the marsh to where the line once connected with the main shipping dock.  Some old trestle posts are still visible at the water's edge.

BYOP! Not having a writing tool is not going to fly. You must find a way to make a distinctive mark or in some way prove you found the cache.  I appreciate help maintaining the log but if cache appears to be missing, please no throw-downs.

Permission to place the cache was granted by Florida's Nature Coast Conservancy
