Geocache Description:

This should be a simple grab. Nothing needs to be ripped up or taken apart in order to find the cache.

Welcome to the front lawn! This is the "city center", if you will, of campus. Throughout the year you will see events being held here. This includes anything from concerts, dinners, tailgates, and even weddings. One of the largest events is the Christmas lighting ceremony at the beginning of December. Hundreds, if not thousands of people visit each year to see the lights, take carriage rides, and photograph the lights. Spring is a great time on the front lawn as everything greens up and the flowers begin blooming. If you visit during this time, take a stroll, and maybe some photos of the flowers. On a daily basis, weather permitting, you will see many students lounging in hammocks, spreading a blanket to do homework, passing a frisbee, or swinging on one of the famous swings that the university is known for.

Geocachers beware, superstition claims that going under the tower alone makes you single for life. Going under the tower with someone else causes that couple to marry for life. But as long as you aren't superstitious, you should be fine.

If you have any recommendations as to how to improve this cache or notice anything out of order, feel free to send me an email. As always, be safe, have fun, and Happy Caching!
