We are pleased to welcome you back to North Carolina for GeoWoodstock 15!
For those who are in town early, please come on over to the Nantahala Outdoor Center on Thursday 25th May 2017 from 1pm to 2pm! If you have tickets, ride the Official #GW15 Train here to get here on time, or maybe you'll be driving on over and meet us here (somewhat limited parking; be warned!), or even kayak or canoe here. If you came on the train and need to be efficient with time, food will be available for pre-purchase; details soon. There is also public riverside seating and food available.
Look for the NCGO / GW15 banner!
The Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) opened in 1972 when Payson and Aurelia Kennedy and Horace Holden Sr. took over the old Tote 'N Tarry Motel. NOC is based in western North Carolina near Bryson City, near the Great Smoky Mountains on the Nantahala River. NOC is surrounded by Nantahala National Forest. The Appalachian Trail passes directly through the heart of the NOC, crossing the Nantahala River on a bridge next to the outfitter.
Leashed, well-behaved dogs are allowed on site but are not allowed in any of the buildings.

Nothing could be finer than to cache in Carolina....AGAIN!
