Geocache Description:


Sekundærrute 180 er en vejrute ned gennem Jylland.
Sekundærrute 180 begynder i byen Frederikshavn ved færgen. Den slutter på Viby Torv i Viby J, sydvest for Århus. Ruten er / var ca. 190 km lang, og dermed Danmarks længste rute.

Sekundærrute 180 var i mange år hovedvej A10.
Da man begyndte at bygge Europavejen E45 i Danmark var det enten på Hovedvej A10, eller tæt ved.
Derfor er sekundærrute 180 i dag delt op i flere stykker.
Så har Ruten 180 flere ”lokale” vejnavne.

Cache serien her er på strækningen Aalborg syd til Hobro syd. En rute på knap 60 km.
Du kommer helt tæt på Danmarks flotte natur på denne strækning. En af Danmarks forhenværende Hemmeligheder fra den kolde krig, og andre interessante seværdigheder, befinder sig her.

The Secondary route 180 is a road in Jutland
The Secondary route 180 starts in the town Frederikshavn at the ferry dock. It ends in the Viby City in Viby J, south west of the city Aarhus. This route is or was 190 km long and it is the longest route in Denmark.

The Secondary route 180 was in many years the Main road A10.
When they started to build the Europe road E45 in Denmark, it was on Main road A10 or close to it.
Today the Route 180 is diverted in several parts.
The Route 180 has some local road names too.

This cache series are on that part between Aalborg south and Hobro. It is around 60km long.
You will see some of Denmark’s beautiful nature on this route. You will pass one of Denmark’s best kept secrets from the Cold War and a lot of other interesting things.
