Óbuda déli csücskében található az egykori római település, Aquincum katonai amfiteátruma. Az impozáns méretű (a római Colosseumnál is nagyobb az aréna), mára feltárt létesítmény lenyűgöző látványt nyújt a budai fő útvonalak metszetében, igazi időutazásra alkalmas hely.

Near the southern end of the Óbuda region of the capital, the military amphitheater of the former Roman territory of Aquincum is spread out over a large area. Walking among these two thousand year old ruins, especially knowing that they are right next to the main thoroughfares of Buda, is truly a surreal experience.
