Pipe run Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Chrisp66995: One of my better caches, now completely isolated by the new housing estate that has slowly grown up around it....gone are the open fields, trees and wildlife. And they call this progress!
Sadly it is no more (someone will find it at the back of their garden and wonder what they hell it is!).

Geocache Description:

Overshadowed by Sharphill woods, this cache highlights the delicate edge of the green belt in West Bridgford.

Quite a lot of the green and pleasant land you see as you visit this cache will soon be turned into new housing, but for the moment the building work is concentrated over towards the Wheatcroft roundabout on the A52. Access to this cache is via the continuation of Musters Road where it intersects with Boundary Road and there is roadside parking at this point. Do stick to the path round the edge of the cultivated field as you approach GZ rather than plough straight across it. You'll pass muggle houses and gardens but should be largely unobserved for this visit. Some of you may recognise this style of hide but this time it is comes with a subtle twist..... I saw something similar out near Prestwold so thank you to Plasmawave, its CO, for the initial inspiration. No hint for this one, just bring tweezers and a pen, drop the cache back in the tube AFTER the egg (!) when you're done and replace the cap to keep the inside as dry as possible. You don't need to bring anything special apart from grey matter, so the bottles of water can stay in the car!
