Highlands, North Carolina is a small town at an elevation of 4,118 and attracts many for the pleasant summer time temps. And with a limited number of caches in the area I thought it would be a good idea to add some Park & Grabs about town.
The cache I have placed is on what the locals call the "Highlands Bypass". There is plenty of parking about 100 feet from the covered structure that has plenty of seating if you are tired, and a scenic path leading down into the valley.
This is a public area setup by the town for visitors to our lovely town. So, you will be looking for a 35mm container wrapped in camo and held in place with some velcro. You won't have to crawl around just bend over a little bit and it only contains a log so please bring your own pen.
