Georgia Geo-Campers @ Magnolia Springs State Park Event Cache

Everyone is invited to join the Georgia Geo-Campers for our first camp out of 2017!

The Georgia Geo-Campers will be camping at Magnolia Springs State Park the weekend of March 18th. Some camping geocachers will be arriving on the 17th to take full advantage of all the Geocaching, other activities and to explore this great park.

The posted coordinates are for the event but we will have our own area to set up camp, (pioneer style camping) in the pioneer camping section (see additional waypoint). The Pioneer Campground has water but no electrical hookups, so pack your camping supplies according to your needs. "Outhouse-style" restrooms are available.

**NOTICE**
Please do NOT make reservations with Magnolia Springs if you're camping in our assigned area. You WILL need to reserve a camping spot with your "will attend" log. Simply stating, "reserving 1 camp" will get you a spot. The camping fee is $25 per couple/family for the weekend. (Friday and Saturday nights)

For those that prefer camping with regular campground amenities, (campers, cottages, walk-in campsite, etc) Magnolia Springs has other camping accommodations. Make those ---> reservations here.


You don't have to be camping to attend this event. Everyone is encouraged and invited to attend this event.

Schedule of Activities:
6:PM S'mores at the Bonfire and, back by popular demand, the 'Jackpot Camper Drawing' (bring unactivated trackables to participate)
7:PM Storytelling
8:PM Moonlight Paddle (check back for further details)

You will need folding chairs, food, beverages, flashlights, guitar, and other camping gear. There is a $5 gate fee if you don't have a park pass to enter any State Park.


First time camper? Parks will assist you and provide camping gear and supplies at eight of the state parks.
