This is a set of fourteen fairly straightforward caches set out over a 4.2 mile route in a figure of eight. The route passes three church micros set by “Barfy's” which are well worth visiting. Parking is available close to caches 1 and 8 but please do not block access for farm vehicles. The route is mainly footpaths and farm tracks with short sections on quiet lanes, it can be very muddy in places.
The first cache, after Barfy's Carleton St Peter cache take the footpath towards Church cottage, the path turns right just before you get to the cottage, continue to Carleton Beck. You are looking for a little pot big enough for a few small swappables, BYOP.
