This event will be held at the Roebuck Inn, hence the frankly dreadful puns in the title. I couldn't think of any better, but if you can, include them in your will attend logs and the person who comes up with the best one will receive the additional satisfaction of absolutely no acknowledgement. I was looking for a more lively looking Roe Deer for the photo below, but they were all copyrighted. This one oddly wasn't, and as the deer seems to have a look on it's face the like of which I've seen on many a geocachers, it seemed appropriate...
The event will officially take place 6:30pm - 9:00pm, or till LTL on Tuesday 28th March, 2017. The event will follow the usual format of simply being a pub social, with excellent food on offer. No raffles, no new caches during the event. The pub has a separate area they are allowing us to use for the evening. If you walk through the bar area, past the bar and through to the restaurant area, on your right tucked away there is a small staircase leading up to a large room, and we will be having the event up there.

The pub is very proud of their food, cooking everything from fresh, so in order to be able to serve you without long delays, they are offering us a limited menu you can order from on the night -
Fish and chips, cheese and onion pie, minced beef and onion pie, liver and onions or chicken breast with bacon, cheese and bbq sauce
They may be able to offer you other dishes from the main menu if particularly wanted, but you would need to let me know in advance so I can ask the pub. The normal menu can be viewed on the pub website (see related webpage). The full sweet menu will also be on offer.
Please mention in your will attend log if you plan to eat, so we can let the pub know numbers.

The general area of Royton and Oldham has had many new caches published recently so there's lots to do should you be free in the daytime before, and not sat with your nose to the grindstone. Either way, we hope to see you there.
