Replacing an archived cache in this spot, this is your typical WPM hide, with a twist, or maybe two, as there are two compartments to the cache, one end has room for trackables, the other has a real log, picked up during our travels, we would like to put this in our home someday as a memory, if you want to add your signature, or you may just sign the logbook, or maybe both. This area is known to be wet, so you may need boots, or perhaps you can navigate around. Minor bushwacking required, watch out for wire on the ground. Cache was placed while there was frozen water. If needed there is a tool in the base of the tree to open the container.
As this trail is owned by the DNR, a geocache notification form has been submitted to the Fond Du Lac Parks & Planning Committee, the managers of this trail. Geocaches placed on DNR property require approval of the land manager.
