Geocache Description:

Fulbourn lies about five miles south-east of the centre of Cambridge. The North and East of the village the land is flat, drained fen; to the south and south-West the Gog Magog Hills rise to over 200 feet. The traditional parish boundaries follow the line of a Roman road and the Icknield Way to the south-west and south-east, Fleam Dyke— an ancient defensive earthwork— to the East and the tributaries of Quy Water that drain to the River Cam.

At the village sign there is a plaque. What is the date? This is ABCD Across the road from the sign there is an information board about the footpaths and walks in Fulbourn. Find the number for the corresponding footpaths and walks. Town close = E Roman Road = F Hindlodges = G Stone bridge lane Fleam Dyke Gt Wilbraham = H Wilbraham road and Little Wilbraham = I Cache can be found at N 52 F-E.D(F-B)(I-H-E) E 000 F+A.AH(C+E) Parking can be found at both the sign and the final.
If anybody would like to expand this series please do. I would just ask that you let Smokeypugs know first so they can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
