Geocache Description:

Drumtochty Forest and its adjoining neighbour, Fetteresso are the biggest forests in the area between Stonehaven and Banchory. Make sure you have the usual provisions water snacks map gps etc. With the area being quite dense at times signal can be quite jumpy or in my experience the phone has no signal at all.

Please have a look at the link the forestry have asked to be displayed so we can all play our part. Tree diseases and pests are posing an increasing threat to our forests and can be spread very quickly from forest to forest on muddy tyres, boots or paws.

Please watch your footing when going to and retrieving it is on a bit of a banking.
