For the past 39 years, on the first Sunday of every May, thousands of cyclists of all skill levels come from around the world to roll through every borough of New York City on streets totally free of cars.
Today, this NYC tradition continues!
Last year, I meet several geocachers from different states and different countries who happened to be in town for this tradition. They had hoped they could have attended an event to meet with local cachers to trade trackables and get the scoop on NYC caches.
This year, I’d like to make that possible, hoping local and far spread cachers come together to share your favorite geocaching stories, trade trackables, and discuss new caches in the area.
For those who wish to attend who are not coming by bike, I recommend public transportation. However, the brewery is still accessible if you want to drive. If you have difficulty finding parking, I have added a waypoint for a nearby municipal parking garage in walking distance. Flagship Brewery is also located right by the SIR Tompkinsville Train Station and close to the Staten Island Ferry.
For those riding, Good Luck!
