This geocache was part of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Wildlife Management Area System in 2017. There are 49 geocaches hidden on WMAs across Florida, from the panhandle to the Keys. See if you can find them all!

There are three entrances to Caravelle Ranch WMA. This uses the walk-in entrance on the east side of SR19, south of the main entrance. There are several miles of marked trails traversing mesic and hydric hammock and this cache is accessed from these trails. The rest of the WMA has a variety of natural communities including mesic flatwoods, wet flatwoods, scrubby flatwoods, hammock, and old pastures that are great places to see wild turkey.
