Geocache Description:

The SFE (Something For Everyone) Challenge Series is a mix of challenge caches of varying difficulty.
  • Some you may already qualify for.
  • Some you may decide are not for you.
  • Some you may choose as a goal to achieve.
  • It's up to you.

In accordance with the 2016 Challenge cache regulations:
  • The cache is hidden at the posted coordinates.
  • You may put your name in the logbook at any time but you may only log a find when you have qualified as well. There is a challenge checker link below to use to check this.
  • The D rating reflects the difficulty of the challenge. The T rating reflects the terrain of the hide.
  • The CO has qualified for each challenge.

The 365 day Streak Challenge:
  • A lot of Geocachers set challenges for themselves while they play this game, whether it be to complete a number of days in a row, to target specific cache types, or to find a number of different cache types in a 24 hour period.
  • Some try to keep a streak of daily finds alive.
  • Some have continued for an amazingly long time.
  • This challenge cache is for those who have set themselves a challenge to make finds on 365 consecutive days by giving them a reward for all of their efforts.  This is not easy to achieve. This type of challenge cache exists in other states and overseas. Now SA also has one.
  • So for this challenge you need a 365 day streak of at least one find every day
  • Caches from anywhere in the world count.
  • All cache types count
  • The challenge checker below will verify you qualify.
Katarapko and the Hide:
  • Difficulty is based on the challenge, not the actual hide. The cache should be easy to find once at GZ.
  • Terrain is based on the actual hide. Check the attributes. You will need to deal with a stretch of water. You may need a 4WD depending on your chosen launch point. Day use of the Park is currently free but camping attracts a fee which needs to be paid online. See the related web page for more information and bookings if needed.
  • It is a beautiful area. We saw literally hundreds of kangaroos when we placed the cache. The Related Web page will give you some information on the Park and has links to maps and camping information. You do not need to camp or stay overnight. We spent around half a day there when we placed the cache. You can also do one way canoe/kayak trips along the full length of Katarapko Creek. Click on the map below for more information. We hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did.
