CWF1 - Creatures of the Wild Forest #1 - Strigidae Traditional Cache

This cache is located on BMWA lands not far from Wild Creek Reservoir.  Park at the posted parking coordinates, but do NOT block the gate.  This area is open to the public, but no motorized vehicles are allowed.  Be sure to wear ORANGE as hunting is allowed in this area..  

This is the first in a series of caches called Creatures of the Wild Forest.  These caches should be an easy find and represent various creatures that you might find while exploring this area.  They are family friendly and are designed to get people out into the woods for a nice hike.  The caches in this series will range in size from micro and small up to large.  This is the first of many that will be hidden along this trail.

When you arrive at parking, walk around the gate and up the access road.  This cache is located a short distance off the main trail.  This one should be an easy find.  Please take care in retrieving the cache from the container.  Enjoy your hike.
