Little Hale Methodist Church
The Methodist Chapel was built in 1837 and is now a listed building. It remains the only place of worship in the village of Little Hale.
For most of it’s existence the building was a simple brick rectangle with high windows, a raised pulpit at one end and racks of coat hooks on the other three sides for the local farm workers to hang their wet coats. Prior to 2016 the chapel had no taps, toilets or water. If coffee was to be served the water had to be brought in from nearby houses.
An extension to the chapel was opened in 2016 providing the luxury of a kitchen, a toilet, a small meeting area and a storage cupboard.
