The start of the road into the Gamtoos River Valley which is a farming valley rich in history & where oranges, naartijies & potatoes abound. Some of the farms have a skirting of white roses around them making one think that you are in the grape valley area! This is to make the farmers aware of any insects which could be harmful to their crops. This is a lovely area to travel through on a Sunday and enjoy some refreshments along the way.
