We have had two successful cleanups of Village Park last year in April and September, but it's time to get back there and help clean it up again!
We will meet at the posted coordinates on Saturday April 22nd from 9 - 11 A.M. From there you can grab your trash bags, trail map and get information about the area since the trail systems in the park can be confusing! Latex gloves will be provided, but it's recommended you bring your own heavy duty pair. Any trash we collect will be left at the dumpster behind the library for pick up by the town the next day. Note that the meeting location is subject to change, and if a change is made a note will be made in the logs and some updated coordinates will be provided.
This event is part of the year long Swansea Sesquarcentennial celebration. It is being held with support from the Swansea Conservation Commission, and their efforts for keeping this area clean are much appreciated! We hope to see you there to help lend a hand!
