This is a micro cache with access from either the gravel parking lot off the highway where a public restroom is located or on D St. Stop for a quiet break at this re-purposed gathering place that was the original Prescott Post Office.
The building that used to stand here had been several things through the years from the Prescott post office in 1902 to the second hand store it was when it burnt down in 2004. It remained an empty space of nothing until 2014 when Slovenian artist Milenko Matanovic and the non profit Pomegranate Center he founded in 1986 as a way to address the isolation he saw in communities to and bring the creative process to community problem solving, came to work with the people of Prescott to create the gathering place it is today.
