This is a pleasant walk from Blain Street to Desert Park - at the edge of part of MacDonnell Range. The best time to walk this trail is early morning when the sun is shining on Mt Gillen.
The Desert Park is open daily to tourists from 7.30am - 6pm. The waik trail distance from Blain Street to The Desert Park is approx 3kms.
