This is a cache in a series called Creatures of the Wild Forest. These caches should be easy to find and represent various creatures that you might find while exploring this area. They are family friendly and are designed to get people out into the woods for a nice hike. The caches in this series will range in size from micro and small up to large. This is the 3rd cache in the series hidden along this trail. This cache is named after wild turkeys, as you may see some on your travels through these woods. Interesting turkey fact: Turkeys have between 5000 and 6000 feathers.
When you arrive at parking, walk around the gate and up the access road. This cache is located a short distance off the main trail. You are looking for a small yellow Otter Box container, but don't expect to spot this brightly colored container that easily. This cache is winter accessible, but if there is a significant amount of snow on the ground, you probably will NOT be able to access it. Enjoy your hike.
