Welcome to Sumida-ku.You're on Kiyosumi Avenue,which leads up to the Skytree.
This place offers a great open viewpoint of the Skytree, the size of which you can appreciate. It's especially beautiful at night, when lit up in all sorts of different colours, with the moon by its side.
At the end of July, Sumida hosts the Sumida River fireworks, and this avenue is closed for the evening so that people can occupy the street, sitting down, having drinks and food while admiring the fireworks.
At the intersection, facing the Skytree, the street on the left leads to Asakusa and its touristy atmosphere. On this street, you will find an Inventor shop. The owner has all sorts of games and interesting things for you to have a look at. It's signaled by a bowing mannequin, in front of the shop. Just across, there is an Escape game place, which I think geocachers might enjoy as you have to solve your way out of a room.
On the right hand side, the street leads to Higashikomagata, a neighbourhood with a more old and traditionnal vibe as shown by the elderly man daycare on the left, and an old Fryshop, but recently getting more lively with a couple of hostels and sharehouses opening, and an Izakaya replacing a coffee shop.
The cache size is XS, please bring your own pen.
The cache may not be accessible around the fireworks date.

墨田区へようこそ。あなたがいる清澄通りはスカイツリーに通じています。
ここからはスカイツリーがよく見えます。夜は特に美しくさまざまな色で点灯しその傍には月があります。
7月の終わりには隅田川の花火が開催されます。夜には車両通行止めとなる為、座って花火を楽しむ事ができます。
スカイツリーに向かって左手の通りは観光客で賑わう浅草へと続いています。またこの通りには発明ショップがあります。
沢山の種類のゲームがあり、面白いことをする事ができます。店先のマネキンからイメージできるでしょうか。
また目の前にはエスケープゲームの建物があります。ジオキャッシャーであれば楽しめるスポットでしょう。
左手の通りは懐かしい雰囲気のある、東駒形に通じています。最近ではホステルとシェアハウスがオープンしたり、喫茶店をリメイクして居酒屋になったりと
昔ながらの場所が変わりつつあります。
キャッシュのサイズはXSです。ペンを御持参ください。
花火大会時にはキャッシュポイントへはアクセス出来ない可能性がありますのでご注意ください。
