Johnston County Heritage Trail Kick Off Event Event Cache

Join us for the Johnston County Heritage Trail kickoff event. The Johnston County Heritage Trail is sponsored by the Johnston County Vistors' Bureau. Fifty sites across all 11 municipalities as well as in the unincorporated area have been chosen to highlight the history of Johnston County. There will be various types of geocaches, most made and donated by cachers from the area.

The event officially kicks off at 2:00 pm April 29, 2017 and ends at 3:00 pm. There will be beveages and snacks available as we gather and catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Door prizes will be given out and a table will be available to drop travel bugs.

Following the meet and greet, cachers will receive passports and the cache coordinates and the challenge will begin. The first 200 people who complete their passport will receive a beautiful trackable commemorative geocoin. A Ham and Yam geoart will also be created for the event.
