This cache was placed as a bonus for CAM2017 and is on the same loop trail as the CAM cache.
After placing the CAM2017 cache, we continued on the trail which loops back to parking. As we were walking we spotted an eagle flying over the water, thus the title.
This is a typcal hide in the woods. The cache is a little special in that I used a custom made book for the log. It was made by cacher VinceHayter and is trackable.
The terrain rating for most of the hike is not more than a 2, but near the beginning of the trail and for about 100' there is a fairly steep descent.
