Trooper's Trail Traditional Cache

Troopers Trail is named after my dog Trooper (Valley Bulldog).  We enjoy hiking in the woods around Fishing Creek in Chesapeake Beach.  Geocaching gives us a reason to go more often.  

Trooper's Trail is a little harder to get to than my other cache in Chesapeake Beach (Turlock's Roost).  I recommend attempting it in the Fall or Spring.  In the Summer it gets rather thick.  While hiking around the location of the Trooper's Trail cache we have seen Great Blue Heron, Red Fox, Deer, evidence of Beaver, and numerous game trails.

The Cache is a large ammo box.  The log book will need to be upgraded.  

Trail head is at the end of Ivy Lane to the right. Parking is limited, and much is assigned to residents. Please be respectful.
