Geocache Description:

This cache was placed as a bonus for CAM2017 and is near the suggested parking for the loop trail that the CAM cache is on.

We placed this cache near the site of Friendship House and within sight of a memorial to the donor of the land for this park. Friendship House is a typical example of Tidewater settlers' homes in the 1700's. In 1976 it was disassembled and rebuilt on the La Plata Campus of the College of Southern Maryland.
