Doug's Piggery is set up on land that is part of one of Norfolk County's largest pig farms. In Ontario there are almost 1400 pig farms that produce pork for our consumption.
Doug's Piggery is designed to be a "pork hotel" for travel bugs. Travelbugs can rest along with the pigs that live in this pig barn until someone else comes along to move them.
To access Doug's Piggery park your vehicle across from the metal gates. Take the trail that is behind the gates (you will have to walk around the gates if they're closed - don't worry about the Trail closed sign that's an old sign from when they moved the snowmobile trail). If the gates are open then watch out for pig poop tractors as they use this road. Just watch out for the Poison Ivy when going around the gates. Follow this farm road about 100 feet until you come to a trail. Take the trail to your left and start searching for Doug's Piggery.
