Cowboy Hat Mountain
When we were wee younkers what we used to play
Was cowboys and cowgirls all through the day.
Now we had no sisters so the cowgirls were none
But that did not stop us from having our fun.
We would race all around shooting up the bad men
Back in the day – when we were about ten.

Now that I am older there’s not much running I do
And chasing the bad guys well that’s all over too.
I come sit at the beach in the sun for the view,
And if I’m real lucky will grab a cache or two.
Now if you come here and I expect that you will
Look off to the mountains and view cowboy hat hill.
