After the success of my first cache, and a couple of other caches hidden along this not so well known walking track I decided it was time to hide another one. Quite often I will go for a walk along this track in the summer months, where it is quite relaxing.
The two gold clubs are very exclusive, and are well known. Huntingdale Golf Club used to be a hunting club. Back in the 1970s. And when the Australian MAsters used to be played at the golf course, they had many famous golfers- Greg Norman and Tiger Woods to name a couple.
The area does get a lot of foxes going between the two courses, and an abundance of native bird life.
The cache is a 35mm film canistar, hidden under natual camflouage.
There are two ways to get to the cache, you can go for the quick drive by option. By going down Windsor Ave off North Road, and follow the road to a brick wall or you can take a plesant stroll along the dirt tracak and watch the golfers play golf while you walk. Either way you are bound to get to the cache with ease. Although it can be busy with cars coming and going, but you will be hidden, by the brick wall, you may just need to poke your head around to make sure no cars are oming. Or just go out the other side where you possibly wont be seen.
It is a pretty quite area the Oakleigh South area, and not too many caches so I thought I would add another one to the collection.
Hope you enjoy this one.
