Ted's Caravan Resort Traditional Cache

When looking to place this cache here, Google maps showed the name of the reserve as "Ted's Caravan Resort"!

I didn't notice anyone called Ted, any caravans nor a resort anywhere around here. On closer inspection, I see that it is located in the bay about 200m from the reserve. But does it really exist? I don't know how anyone would get their caravan across the water to Ted. There does seem to be plenty of boats out there though.

I don't know the real name of this reserve, but it might be called Northcote Rd Reserve. It is one of several secret places along Kogarah Bay where you can relax, take in the pleasant views across the water, as well as keep the geokiddies entertained on the play equipment. And of course now you have another opportunity to find a cache and collect a smiley.

Update 22/3/22.

The hide is now a silver bison hanging in the tree by the wall. You will need to BYO pencil/pen. Remember: No signey, no smiley. Them's the rules of geocaching! You should be out of sight of muggles in this new location. Then take some time to enjoy the park and the views across the bay. Take care with the geokiddies near the edge of the water.
