You are looking for a brand, new cache, not a replacement cache. So, if you ever found "Zebra Mussels" you can still come out and get this one as an all-new find. The cache is an "in-between"  (not a small, not a medium) Lock N Lock on the waterfront. Park at the Skate Park and you'll have a half mile walk to the cache, 1 mile total.

The old Zebra Mussels has been archived. The City of Burlington has been hard at work making this area 'new and improved". Of course, if you prefer a natural , unspoiled landscape then you may have liked it more previously. 

Now, in the vicinity of the cache you will find a nice, wooden observation platform. It has a beautiful view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. One might enjoy bringing a blanket, your favorite geodog, and a picnic.

This cache is almost where the previous cache was, however, the City brought in more boulders and rocks so the hidey hole is slightly different this time. Right now is a good time to seek this cache as it will probably get very muggly as the weather gets warmer. There will be lots of people enjoying all the new work and "happenings" at the waterfront.
