Geocache Description:

Street parking is easy to do. This is one of the busier streets in town so stealth may be needed.

In front of the local volunteer fire hall is the original bell used since the 1930's to alert the community to fire emergencies and the curfew times.  The bell was eventually replaced by a remote electric siren.

Fires are one thing, but the town still sounds the siren for 12 noon, 6pm and 9 pm.  The curfew bylaw has long been gone, but the town residents are so accustomed to the siren at these times that the alerts are missed if they don't sound.
