Spitskop Booster #2
The cache, a green-taped preformed plastic tube, is hidden about 2m off the trail heading up to Spitskop. It was hidden - along with GC7191M: Spitskop Booster #1 and GC7191W: Spitskop Booster #3 - to encourage geocachers to explore this less-visited area and experience GC20VQP: Spitskop Armchair which provides a stunning panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Noordhoek Valley beach and beyond.
To access the cache location: park at S 34 6.453 E 18 24.176 ensuring that you hide any valuables out of sight, and proceed up the Ou Wapad trail (passing GC1R7VV: Ou Wapad along the way) as far as S 34 5.705 E 18 24.298 and take the small trail heading west. Follow this past the location of #1 as far as the T-junction @ S 34 5.550 E 18 24.094. Turn left (south-west) and continue to the cache location.
From here you can continue along the trail to access #3 - and of course Spitskop Armchair.
From parking to the summit of Spitskop should take around 60 minutes at a steady pace - not allowing for cache stops. The return can be done easily enough in around 45 minutes.
