Details of what to expect: You will be walking through several nice friendly neighborhoods (such as Woodberry Forest, Pine Valley Estates, Whisper Creek and Eagles Nest) where you might encounter walkers, runners, people with baby strollers, bicyclers, people walking their dogs and some even pushing their dogs in a dog stroller! This is generally a low car traffic situation except that you will have to cross the busy College Road twice at stop lights but its very manageable. There are also two enjoyable adventures highlighting some of the great features of two nice Wilmington City Parks (Halyburton Park and Wade Park). The entire trip should be about three hours but could be longer if you are a slow walker or like to take lots of detours.
