March 14 is Pi Day, a day to celebrate the mathematical constant pi (π) and to eat lots of pie. Celebrated in countries that follow the month/day date format, because the digits in the date are the first three digits of π (3.14). Pi Day was founded by Physicist Larry Shaw in 1988.
Join us for some geo-chatter and pie! No purchase or devouring of pie is required to attend this event. The event will begin at 6:30 pm and last for one hour. Of course, you are welcome to stay and chat longer!
Pi day: A day when nerds and foodies unite!
