L'avenue Carnot est la moins longue des douze avenues qui partent en étoile de la place Charles-de-Gaulle. Elle est bordée de paulownias qui en font une splendeur lors de leur floraison au printemps.

Paulownia is a deciduous tree native to central and western China, Korea and Japan.
