Where: The posted coordinates, not far from the boat launch on Seymore Lake.
When: Tuesday, May 16th, 2017 from 10am until 10:30am
Why: Because we can - kayaking is fun!!
In the event of inclement weather, the event will still happen at the time given, but on land at the boat launch (see related waypoints). We will not risk anyone's life by voyaging out on unsafe water. The boat launch appears to have parking for about 8 cars.
Note: This event will be ON THE WATER (as long as it is safe to do so), please bring your kayak, canoe, raft, or boat, and all required safety equipment based on the vessel you have. This is a public waterway so boat traffic may occur. Motor boats are permitted on this waterway, but please check all craft advisories and engine restrictions before heading out.
If you don't have a watercraft but would still like to attend, please still log your will attend, but make note of this in your log. If you have room in your watercraft for an extra person or two, please post this as well. We will do our best to make sure everyone is able to participate.
