An opportunity to dust off your watergoing transport and get together for a splashmob on the River Hamble
Date: 29 May 2017
Time: 13:00 – 16:00 (subject to those who wish to extend their attendance and by how long)
Being on the River Hamble, this event is tide dependent. Therefore it is scheduled for 13:00 (High Tide 14:26) with a view to paddle around for the minimum required 30 minutes. For those who wish to extend their attendance there will be an optional paddle up stream
Please note that this is a T5 event and you should only attend if you have a suitable craft and it is very strongly advised that this is accompanied with buoyancy aid / lifejacket. Please don't attend if you are not confident in this environment.
Again, given the nature of this event, it will be subject to weather checks in the day or so leading up to this; those having logged 'Will Attend' will be notified.
Note the suggested parking coordinates but also be aware that this area can get busy so please allow plenty of time to ensure your boat is prepared and ready to go for the advertised time. Most convenient launch point is Swanwick Shore Road.
