Geocache Description:

This is a very beautiful area and is in Nelson Lakes National Park. Cache is a short distance from a road in reasonably open forest.

Cache description:
Cache is a 2 litre snaplock container, painted green and black. Cache is not visible, ie under something.

Additional information:

As this is National Park you are not allowed to take dogs. The cache location is accessible night or day but is best during the day.
There are lots of walks to do, short or long. A recently developed "Mainland Island" is nearby. It is a predator free area on one side of the lake, the birdlife there has flourished.
