Questa è la storia di una bella schiava che in realtà è una principessa, ma nessuno lo sa. Lei si invaghisce di un soldato, ricambiata, ma ha sempre nostalgia di casa, dove il re si danna l'anima per non poter abbracciare la figlia.
Finchè un giorno scopre il regno che la tiene prigioniera, prende il suo esercito e gli dichiara guerra. Ma per difendersi, questo re malvagio che tiene schiava la principessa decide di mettere a capo delle truppe difensive proprio il soldato di cui si è innamorata, e così la bella principessa è combattuta tra la famiglia e l'amore.
Ma proprio il suo amato, non sapendo di combattere il padre della propria sposa, lo cattura e lo porta nelle stesse segrete dove si trova la nostra principessa e viene a scoprire le regali origini del suo amore e così escogita un piano per liberarli.
Questo piano va a buon fine, ma pentitosi delle sue azioni va a confessarsi dinnanzi al proprio di re che lo condanna. Ma la nostra principessa non è mai realmente fuggita non potendo liberarsi così del suo bel soldato e cosi vi nasconde nella cripta insieme a lui, preferendo dire addio al mondo piuttosto che continuarne a soffrire le pene.
