To reach this cache enter the parking lot just north of the cache...parking on the left behind the mailboxes as you enter is ideal. The cache is in an old coquina quarry with terrain that will probably surprise you. As you approach the cache you will be travelling on a trail that is actually a lost section of the Kings Road built 250 years ago to connect St. Augustine to the Turnbull settlement in what is now New Smyrna. The Kings Road crossed the Tomoka River here by ferry and you can still see the causeway which was built into the marsh to reach the river. British engineers laid the road along a route shown to them by an Indian named Grey Eyes. You will have to find the cache without his help. Cache coordinates could be off slightly so use the hint and your GeoSenses.
