The Toyman Traditional Cache

A tribute to an inspired toymaker;  minneapolis15 

Once upon a time there were relatively few caches in this part of the kingdom of Plymouth, and most of those were simple park-and-grabs. Then a magical toymaker appeared with a talent for playfulness, fun and the unexpected. His dream was to make caching fun. He planned several series of caches; some that were aimed at the younger cachers, and some that required some thought and some effort to acquire the smiley. He executed his plan and many a brave cacher travelled to the kingdom to seek out these caches, then bestowed favorite points aplenty upon them. Their fame spread far and wide, resulting in several nominations for "Cache-of-the-Month".

After a while, maintaining all of these caches grew to be a task too great for even the magical toymaker and the caches left the kingdom almost as quickly as they arrived. One or two remained, but the kingdom was again a poorer place to hunt the wild geocache.

But a little bit of the magic remained.

This is one of those magical caches, returned to the kingdom not by the toymaker, but definitely in his style. Finding the cache should be easy, but you will have to think a little to earn your smiley. Should you be successful in your quest, please return everything to its original condition for those who will follow you in quests of their own. (This may be more difficult than accessing the log!!).

No tools or force are needed to access the log; be gentle with it so that the magic may remain in the kingdom.
